Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative and practical interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
- Convert client requirements into functional design proposals.
- Prepare 2D layouts, floor plans, elevations, detailed drawings, 3D designs, renders, mood boards, and presentations.
- Design villas, apartments, kitchens, bedrooms, living areas, offices, bathrooms, and other interior spaces.
- Coordinate with clients on requirements, revisions, materials, finishes, and project expectations.
- Prepare material and finish selections based on project requirements and budget.
- Coordinate with MEP, joinery, civil, and site teams.
- Conduct site visits and take measurements when required.
- Prepare shop drawings and design details for joinery, ceilings, partitions, flooring, kitchens, doors, and other interior works.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors and monitor design implementation at site.
- Maintain records of drawings, revisions, material selections, and client approvals.
- Support the project team through design and execution stages.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Previous experience in interior design, fit-out, renovation, or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in 3D design or rendering software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray, or similar.
- Good knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and interior construction details.
- Ability to prepare professional design presentations and 3D renders.
- Good understanding of joinery and fit-out works.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and suppliers.
