The role supports the evolution of 3G, 4G, 5G, WLAN, and satellite communications technologies.
Role Responsibilities
- Participate in systems engineering activities related to wireless communication technologies.
- Design WWAN modem baseband algorithms.
- Perform theoretical and computer-aided analysis.
- Conduct performance characterization, fixed-point design, and validation.
- Participate in design and review sessions.
- Contribute to Qualcomm's intellectual property portfolio.
- Provide systems support for implementation.
- Contribute technical material to air-interface specifications.
Relevant Skills and Experience
- PHY and MAC layers, information theory, coding theory, adaptive filtering, signal detection and estimation, and digital communications.
