Integration Architect (Oracle Cloud Integrations)

Role Summary

Experience and Core Requirements

• The role requires 8+ years of overall experience with solid enterprise integration coordination or delivery experience.
• Working API knowledge is required, including REST concepts, Swagger/OpenAPI, and API lifecycle practices.
• Experience coordinating functional, technical, and vendor or partner teams is required.
• Candidates should be able to interpret architecture documents and translate designs into execution plans.
• Candidates should be able to create or update architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
• Experience working with an Oracle or similar implementation partner is required.
• Understanding of point-to-point, API-led, and event-based integration patterns is required.
• Basic awareness of connectivity, firewalls, VPNs, and integration-related security concepts is required.

Banking Domain Expectations

• Good understanding of banking application ecosystems, including core banking and surrounding platforms, is expected.
• The role operates within regulated environments with security, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Candidates must be able to translate functional requirements and existing designs into actionable execution plans.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Oracle-specific tooling expertise is not a prerequisite for the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Oracle-to-source-system integrations are implemented according to approved architecture, design, and standards.
• Coordinate integration execution between Oracle platforms, core banking, and adjacent systems.
• Create architecture diagrams and integration blueprints for delivery or governance discussions.
• Maintain design documentation to reflect current integration states and approved changes.
• Validate designs, review interface contracts, and support troubleshooting using API knowledge.
• Coordinate Oracle partner support tickets, incidents, and integration-related tasks.
• Resolve dependencies, approvals, and technical blockers with security, network, architecture, and application teams.
• Track action items and open issues across teams and stakeholders through closure.
• Support integration testing, cutover, and go-live planning and coordination.
• Manage risks and issues affecting integration delivery and escalate them to appropriate stakeholders.
• Present execution status in design and architecture review forums.
• Ensure changes comply with security, governance, and audit requirements.
