Job Summary
Doha Petroleum Construction Co. is hiring an experienced Instrumentation Design Engineer for oil and gas and EPC projects.
The role prepares detailed engineering deliverables and ensures compliance with project specifications and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare instrument indexes, I/O lists, loop diagrams, hook-ups, cable schedules, and junction box layouts.
- Develop and review P&IDs in coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Perform instrument sizing and material take-offs.
- Review vendor documents and support procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, ISA, and API standards.
- Support installation and commissioning phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- At least five years of experience in oil and gas or EPC projects.
- Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, AutoCAD, and SPI.
- Strong coordination and technical skills.
