Estimation Engineer (Mechanical) – Proposals supporting Oil & Gas EPC activities.
The position is based in Doha, Qatar.
The employment type is permanent.
Industry
The role is in the EPC and Oil & Gas industry.
Experience Required
- 15+ years of total experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven experience in Oil & Gas EPC/EPCI/EPIC tenders and proposals.
- 7–10 years of relevant proposal and estimation experience.
- Strong Brownfield project experience is required.
- Offshore experience is an added advantage.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of Oil & Gas EPC/EPCI/EPIC tenders and proposals.
- Proven experience estimating the cost of Mechanical and Piping works.
- Experience estimating Mechanical and Piping works for offshore projects.
- Experience estimating Mechanical and Piping works for onshore Greenfield projects.
- Experience estimating Mechanical and Piping works for onshore Brownfield projects.
- Good understanding of manpower, equipment, and material resource requirements.
- Ability to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates aligned with project requirements and tender specifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates for Mechanical and Piping works.
- Support Oil & Gas EPC/EPCI/EPIC tenders and proposals.
- Estimate Mechanical and Piping works for offshore projects.
- Estimate Mechanical and Piping works for onshore Greenfield projects.
- Estimate Mechanical and Piping works for onshore Brownfield projects.
- Assess resource requirements for manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates aligned with project requirements and tender specifications.
