Installer II - Night Shift

· Perform disassembly and reassembly of all Steelcase and office systems furniture

· Recommend solutions to improve and redesign the job site, or customize to get the job completed

· Accurately complete and submit required paperwork, i.e., timesheets, merchandise return

· Properly load and pack the truck for deliveries

· Knowledge & experience of wall mount applications (whiteboards, lockers)

· Provide backup assistance for all warehouse duties, as necessary

· Adherence to Operations procedures, policies, and standards of conduct off-site

· Work closely with the Operations Lead and Lead installer to coordinate on-site progress and issues.

· Assist in teaching new Installers essential job functions

· Basic computer troubleshooting ability

· Should possess excellent communication skills; both verbal and written

· Understanding and knowledge of product lines and services offered

· Effective customer service skills

· Ability to follow instructions and adhere to department and company policies and procedures

· Mindful of maintaining safety in the work environment

· Understanding of and effective use of blueprints

· Must be able to provide own tool set as defined by OpenSquare

· Position requires ownership/access to a reliable vehicle

· Must be able to drive company vehicles (no CDL required)

· Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of Washington and maintain a good driving record, along with unexpired or current auto insurance.

· Ability to work independently with little to no supervision

· Basic understanding of hand tools (manual and power)

· Ability to meet established deadlines

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Two or more years of related work experience; installation of commercial office furniture experience preferred
