Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of structural elements such as foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and walls
- Ensure construction activities align with approved drawings, specifications, and design standards
- Verify that materials meet quality requirements and project specifications
- Monitor workmanship to ensure adherence to highest standards
- Identify and report deviations, defects, or discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ACI, BS, Eurocodes, or local regulations)
- Review structural and shop drawings to understand project requirements
- Inspect reinforcement steel (rebar) placement for proper spacing, alignment, and anchorage
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to address structural issues
- Witness and verify structural tests, including concrete compressive strength, rebar tensile tests, and soil compaction tests
- Promote safe practices during handling and construction of structural components
- Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare reports for the project team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience with a focus on bridge projects
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and construction methods
- Familiarity with structural codes and standards (e.g., ACI, BS, Eurocodes)
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to structural works

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for an Inspector Structure to join the team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
What You’ll Be Doing
