Responsibilities
- Review contract documents, technical specifications, approved shop drawings, and project HSE requirements
- Conduct site inspections and monitor mechanical works including HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems
- Ensure contractor activities comply with project specifications, approved methods, and quality standards through inspections, testing, and measurements
- Monitor and record contractor manpower, equipment, work progress, and daily site activities
- Maintain accurate site records related to workforce, equipment, progress, construction methods, and materials
- Verify material deliveries and monitor installation progress on site
- Implement and follow instructions issued by the Resident Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer
- Enforce project QA/QC procedures and ensure compliance with approved standards
- Carry out site measurements, testing, and verification checks as required
- Monitor compliance with local authority regulations and applicable codes, including Dubai Municipality and Civil Defense requirements
- Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and report any non conformance or safety violations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience in construction supervision projects
- At least 5 years of UAE consultancy experience, preferably in Dubai
- Strong hands on experience in building projects involving HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems
- Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures, local authority regulations, and HSE standards
- Ability to read, interpret, and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills

Overview
- We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our consultancy supervision team for major building projects in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Review contract documents, technical specifications, approved shop drawings, and project HSE requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor mechanical works including HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
- Ensure contractor activities comply with project specifications, approved methods, and quality standards through inspections, testing, and measurements.
- Monitor and record contractor manpower, equipment, work progress, and daily site activities.
- Maintain accurate site records related to workforce and equipment deployment, progress of works, construction methods, and materials used.
- Verify material deliveries and monitor installation progress on site.
- Implement and follow instructions issued by the Resident Engineer (RE) and Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).
- Enforce project QA/QC procedures and ensure compliance with approved standards.
- Carry out site measurements, testing, and verification checks as required.
