Inspector - Mechanical

Role Overview

Your Role

• Read and understand contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, health and safety measures, and updates.
• Ensure contractors comply with contract standards and specifications through observation, measurement, testing, and quality tracking.
• Maintain daily records of contractor manpower and equipment resources.
• Undertake site supervision and inspections when required or instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.
• Document contractor personnel, equipment, activities, locations, reasons for activities, and methods used.
• Report material deliveries and implement site instructions issued by the project leader.
• Apply site quality controls and procedures.
• Prepare site measurements and surveying checks.
• Monitor quality, performance, and code conformance through inspection duties.
• Monitor construction health and safety and report violations.

About You

• Experience in mechanical-related projects is required.
• Construction supervision experience with a consultancy is required.
• At least 12 years of overall experience, including at least 7 years in the UAE, is required.
• Buildings, high-rise, or villa project experience is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
