Summary
SENS is looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative who wants to build customer relationships, develop technical sales expertise, and directly impact revenue growth. In this role, you will own the sales process for assigned inbound opportunities and customer accounts - from initial discovery and qualification through solution development, quoting, pipeline management, negotiation, and close. You'll work directly with customers, manufacturing representatives, channel partners, and the SENS Outside Sales team to understand applications, recommend the right SENS solutions, and turn opportunities into long-term customer relationships. This is not simply an order-processing position. We're looking for someone who enjoys talking with customers, asking great questions, solving problems, winning business, and being accountable for results.
Responsibilities
Customer & Account Development
Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers and manufacturing representatives.
Serve as a trusted sales resource by understanding customer applications, priorities, and purchasing needs.
Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and generate repeat business.
Proactively engage customers to uncover upcoming projects and new sales opportunities.
Educate customers on SENS products, applications, features, and value.
Opportunity Management & Sales Execution
Serve as a primary point of contact for inbound opportunities generated through web, email, phone, referrals, and other channels.

Conduct discovery and qualify opportunities based on application, product fit, timeline, and customer requirements.
Guide customers through the SENS product portfolio and recommend appropriate solutions.
Develop accurate and timely quotations.
Proactively manage open quotes, answer questions, overcome objections, and drive quote-to-order conversion.

Pipeline & Sales Performance
Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
Consistently work toward individual sales, bookings, and conversion goals.
Maintain accurate customer, activity, quote, and opportunity information in HubSpot.
Prioritize opportunities and customer activity based on sales potential and urgency.
Use pipeline data to identify opportunities requiring action and determine next steps.
Collaborate with Sales Operations and other SENS teams to continuously improve the customer experience and sales process.
Quote-to-Order Coordination
Ensure quotations accurately reflect customer requirements.
Review incoming purchase orders for alignment with SENS quotations.
Coordinate with Order Management to ensure accurate order entry and a smooth customer handoff.
Remain engaged with the customer throughout the sales process and help resolve commercial or technical questions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 3 years of B2B inside sales, account management, or related sales experience OR 7+ years of sales experience in lieu of a degree.
Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and influence purchasing decisions.
Experience managing multiple sales opportunities and priorities.
Strong discovery, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Motivation to achieve and exceed individual sales goals.
Ability and desire to develop technical product and application knowledge.
Experience using CRM software to manage customer activity and sales opportunities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Organized, self-directed, and comfortable taking ownership of customer relationships.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling technical, industrial, electrical, manufacturing, or engineered products.
HubSpot CRM experience.
Experience working with manufacturing representatives or channel partners.
International sales experience.
Location: Fully on-site in Longmont, CO
Sched ule : Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Base Compensation: $32-$43/hour ($66,560-$89,440 annually), based on qualifications and experience.
Commission: This position receives performance-based quarterly and annual commission for a total On-Target Earnings of $90,000 - $120,000 annually. The Inside Sales Representative has the opportunity to directly influence earnings through sales performance, customer growth, and successful conversion of opportunities into orders.
Closing Date: September 30th. While we expect to keep the position open through this date, the posting may be extended or closed early based on applicant volume and hiring needs.
