SENS is seeking a Configuration Engineer responsible for maintaining the integrity of product configurations throughout the product lifecycle. This role owns the definition of released products by ensuring engineering design data, ERP product structures, configuration rules, and product standards remain accurate and synchronized. The Configuration Engineer serves as the primary authority for product configuration management, enabling consistent manufacturing, sales, service, and customer support.
Responsibilities
Own the configuration management process for all products.

Create and maintain product configuration profiles for new products and product families.
Create and maintain product labels and product identification requirements.
Support new product introductions by establishing ERP structures, configuration data, and released product definitions.
Perform ERP and BOM audits to ensure consistency between engineering documentation, released product configurations, and manufacturing data.
Support pricing activities by maintaining accurate product options and configurable product structures.
Train Sales and Customer Service personnel on configurable product offerings and product numbering.
Support Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain with product configuration questions.
Develop and improve configuration management processes, standards, and documentation.
Act as the quality gatekeeper for released product configurations, ERP product data, and configurable product standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Systems Engineering.
5+ years of experience in configuration management, manufacturing engineering, product engineering, product data management, or a related technical role.
Strong understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs), configurable products, and product structures.

Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
