Responsibilities
- Supervise construction and installation activities for both wet and dry utility networks
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements, and applicable standards
- Review and provide recommendations on shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions
- Conduct site inspections and monitor contractor performance, productivity, and workmanship
- Witness testing, commissioning, and handover activities for utility systems
- Coordinate with utility authorities, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Verify completed works, quantities, and construction progress
- Identify and resolve technical issues arising during construction
- Ensure compliance with project QA/QC procedures and HSE requirements
- Prepare inspection reports, progress updates, and technical recommendations
- Support the Resident Engineer in project delivery and stakeholder management activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in infrastructure design and/or construction supervision
- Demonstrated experience supervising both wet utilities and dry utilities
- Experience on large scale infrastructure, master planned communities, mixed use developments, or public realm projects
- Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi Municipality and relevant utility authority requirements
- UAE/GCC project experience is mandatory
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
