Role Overview
Design and support secure, resilient, scalable, high-performance, and cost-effective infrastructure across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
The role covers cloud platforms, compute, storage, networking, containers, Infrastructure-as-Code, high availability, disaster recovery, and data-intensive or AI/ML workloads.
Candidates range from experienced cloud infrastructure engineers progressing toward architecture to established Infrastructure Architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end infrastructure architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
- Define architecture for compute, storage, networking, databases, and platform services.
- Design infrastructure for data-intensive and AI/ML workloads, including GPU compute and inference environments.
- Establish standards for Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, environment management, and configuration consistency.
- Design high-availability infrastructure with backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, RTO, and RPO requirements.
- Address security, compliance, data residency, regulatory requirements, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
- Review technical changes, guide engineering teams, support implementation, and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Contribute to modernization, cloud migration, scalability, resilience, and performance improvement initiatives.
