Role Overview
Lead and manage enterprise IT infrastructure across LAN, WAN, cloud, and on-premises environments.
Support application hosting services, enterprise connectivity, critical business systems, and infrastructure operations.
Infrastructure Operations
- Manage servers, virtualization, storage, backups, networking, firewalls, telephony, internet services, Wi-Fi, and disaster recovery.
- Monitor performance, availability, and capacity and resolve network issues, outages, and bottlenecks.
- Maintain infrastructure platforms through security updates, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Maintain architecture documentation, asset inventories, configurations, and technical records.
- Identify infrastructure risks and vulnerabilities and implement mitigation measures.
- Support IT projects and align solutions with ISO 27001 and organisational security requirements.
- Produce infrastructure reports and maintain network architecture diagrams.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as MCSE, VMware, or equivalent are preferred.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
Technical Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Windows Server, and domain management.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365, Office 365, Azure AD, and cloud-based services.
- Experience with VMware virtualization and Cisco networking solutions.
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IPSEC, data centres, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring.
- Experience with IP telephony, MPLS, Internet VPN, connectivity services, and information security controls.
Experience and Competencies
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and networking roles.
- Experience in enterprise-scale IT environments and supporting critical business systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud services and hybrid infrastructure models.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, organisational, stakeholder management, and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally and work collaboratively under pressure.
