Role Overview
A client is seeking an IT Support Engineer for its IT team.
The role combines L1/L2 end-user support with system administration support.
End User Support
- Provide L1/L2 support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Manage and resolve IT incidents and service requests with proper documentation and tracking.
- Support software installations, hardware upgrades, access management, and user requests.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and provide basic user training and support documentation.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
System Administration
- Manage user accounts and access permissions.
- Support software installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Assist with patch management, backup, and recovery processes.
- Provide first-level support for systems, servers, and network-related issues, escalating complex cases when required.
Required Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- At least five years of experience in end-user support and system administration is required.
