Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and end user systems
- Monitor network performance, diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Implement security measures to protect data and systems
- Provide technical support to employees and respond to service requests
- Ensure minimal downtime through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify technology needs, assist with system upgrades, and contribute to IT related projects
Requirements
- Strong Information Technology knowledge, including familiarity with enterprise systems and standard IT frameworks
- Network Administration skills: configuring, monitoring, and maintaining routers, switches, and related infrastructure
- Network Security capabilities: implementing security policies, managing firewalls, and supporting data protection practices
- Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently
- Customer Service skills to support internal users, communicate technical information clearly, and manage support requests professionally
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or equivalent) and experience in an enterprise or research environment are beneficial
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work on site in Abu Dhabi, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Role Description
- The Information Technology Specialist is a full time, on site role based in Abu Dhabi.
- This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and end user systems.
- Daily tasks include monitoring network performance, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and implementing security measures to protect data and systems.
