- Oversee system upgrade efforts for the Hospital Information System (HIS) and manage major change requests, enhancements, and new system projects
- Coordinate gathering, analysis, and translation of business requirements into technical specifications and delivery plans
- Ensure timely execution of project deliverables while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment
- Track project progress, monitor KPIs, manage risks and issues, and provide regular status reporting to senior management
- Drive creation and maintenance of high quality technical and functional documentation
- Support lead resource in day to day project execution, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer
- Work closely with IT teams to plan and implement technical improvements, system upgrades, integrations, and performance optimizations
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and ensure delivered functionality meets operational needs
- Facilitate strong business IT alignment by applying experience from both technical and operational perspectives of HIS
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies while conducting root cause analysis when required
- Manage change control processes, scope variations, and impact assessments throughout the project lifecycle
- Support change management, stakeholder engagement, and training activities to ensure smooth adoption of enhancements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 6+ years of relevant experience as a Project Manager, with involvement in Hospital Information System (HIS) or similar healthcare IT projects preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Solid understanding of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) from technical and business operational perspectives
- Strong project management capabilities in planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder coordination, and status reporting
- Excellent ability to coordinate business requirements with technical delivery teams
- Proficiency in driving technical and functional documentation standards
- Superior communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills across business and IT functions
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar)

Job Summary
- Providing project leadership support for overseeing the overall system upgrade efforts and managing major change requests, enhancements, and future new system projects across the Hospital Information System (HIS) as well as other major IT and business initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall system upgrade efforts for the Hospital Information System (HIS) and manage major change requests, ongoing enhancements, and future new system projects across HIS and other major IT and business initiatives.
- Coordinate the gathering, analysis, and translation of business requirements into technical specifications and delivery plans for both HIS and broader IT/business projects.
- Ensure timely execution of project deliverables while maintaining strong alignment with all stakeholders (business, clinical, and IT).
- Track project progress, monitor key performance indicators, manage risks and issues, and provide regular status reporting to senior management.
- Drive the creation and maintenance of high quality technical and functional documentation, including requirements, design documents, test plans, and user guides.
- Support the lead resource in day to day project execution, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Education / Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a closely related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 6 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager, with involvement in Hospital Information System (HIS) or similar healthcare IT projects preferred (e.g., system upgrades, enhancements, or clinical system implementations).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
