Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years of management or leadership experience
Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple cybersecurity platforms, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), operational metrics, and regulatory requirements.
Improve observability through enhanced monitoring, telemetry, alerting, and analytics capabilities to enable proactive detection and rapid issue resolution.
Drive continuous improvements in operational resilience, disaster recovery readiness, business continuity, and platform recoverability.
Establish service reliability engineering practices to improve system performance, stability, and customer experience.
Collaborate across global support organizations to ensure seamless 24x7 operational coverage and consistent service delivery.
Serve as the senior technology leader during major incidents, service disruptions, and cybersecurity events.
Lead incident command, triage, escalation management, stakeholder communications, and recovery efforts to restore services within MTTR objectives.
Coordinate cross-functional teams during critical outages to ensure rapid diagnosis, containment, remediation, and service restoration.
Provide executive-level reporting, risk assessments, and status communications to senior leadership throughout incident lifecycles.
Drive root cause analysis (RCA), corrective action planning, and implementation of long-term preventive measures to eliminate recurring issues.
Lead strategic transformation programs focused on modernizing cybersecurity platforms and supporting enterprise technology objectives.
Drive initiatives including OpenShift containerization, SailPoint migration, Azure Active Directory modernization, cloud adoption, Zero Trust implementation, and platform consolidation.
Embed security-by-design principles and application security controls throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in partnership with DevSecOps and engineering teams.
Establish scalable, cloud-ready operating models that improve agility, resiliency, and cost efficiency.
Drive adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and predictive analytics capabilities to improve cybersecurity operations and decision-making.
Implement intelligent automation solutions to reduce manual effort, accelerate response times, and improve operational efficiency.
Leverage data science platforms and technologies including Python, Splunk, SQL, and Power BI to develop operational dashboards, predictive models, and actionable insights.
Introduce AI-powered virtual assistants, chatbots, and automated response capabilities to enhance security operations and user experience.
Use predictive analytics to proactively identify capacity constraints, operational risks, performance degradation, and emerging security threats.
Ensure adherence to enterprise security policies and regulatory requirements including SOX, FFIEC, GLBA, GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001, and related industry standards.
Drive vulnerability management programs, leveraging tools such as Qualys to identify, prioritize, remediate, and monitor cybersecurity risks.
Monitor control effectiveness and implement remediation strategies to address identified audit findings and compliance gaps.
Identity & Access Management (IAM) Platform Leadership
Provide strategic and operational leadership for enterprise Identity and Access Management platforms and services.
Ensure secure, compliant, and efficient access management practices across enterprise applications and infrastructure environments.
Serve as a trusted advisor to technology executives, application owners, risk partners, auditors, and business leaders.
Represent cybersecurity platform organizations in governance forums, steering committees, architecture review boards, and regulatory engagements.
Build strong partnerships across global teams to influence strategic decisions, resolve complex challenges, and accelerate business outcomes.
Promote cybersecurity platform capabilities, drive product adoption, and enhance stakeholder confidence through transparent communication and measurable results.
Mentor emerging leaders and foster strong collaboration across engineering, security, operations, risk, and business functions.
