Industry X Advisor – Technical Architect

Ideally, your skills and experience and include

• 5+ years’ industry experience and understanding of the business drivers and requirements of the industry supported with a view on transformation/change within it. From special interest would be industry expertise within:
• Discrete Manufacturing: Automotive, Industrial Equipment, Aerospace & Defense, High Tech
• Process Manufacturing: Consumer Goods, Life Sciences
• Resources: Chemicals, Natural Resources, Energy, Utilities
• Knowledge of the digital and industry 4.0 technologies that can enhance the shopfloor performance, such as IoT, cloud computing, big data analytics, artificial intelligence, robotics, additive manufacturing, etc. From special interest would be relevant expertise encompassing applications of:
• Digital Twin
• Computer Vision
• Generative AI / AI Agents / Agentic AI
• Strong knowledge of industry standards such as ISA‑95 and OPC‑UA, including hands‑on experience with applying these standards to OT/IT data models, asset hierarchies, and interoperable manufacturing data exchange; practical implementation experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience helping clients amplify their existing data and analytic platforms by implementing state-of-the-art, best-in-breed data platform, IoT architectures, AI and Machine Learning models.
• In particular, existing Factory Agents & Analytics (Manufacturing Data Solutions) experience is a plus.
• Good ability to translate business requirements into plausible technical solutions, and vice versa explain complex solutions and concepts in a non-technical language.
• Proficiency to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders up to C-Level, presenting findings and recommendations in a clear and convincing manner.
• Passionate about trends and technical/industry thought leadership.
