Responsibilities
- Assist in installation, testing, commissioning, and start up of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems
- Perform pressure testing, leak detection, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, and system performance testing
- Monitor and verify operational parameters including pressure, temperature, flow rates, and system efficiency
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control related issues in ammonia refrigeration systems
- Assist in commissioning of PLC, control panels, sensors, instrumentation, and safety interlock systems
- Review and interpret P&ID drawings, refrigeration schematics, equipment layouts, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, vendors, and project teams during installation and commissioning
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Prepare commissioning reports, inspection records, punch lists, and technical documentation
- Participate in system performance testing and final handover activities
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities when required
Requirements
- Experience in installation, testing, commissioning, and start up of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems
- Ability to interpret P&ID drawings and refrigeration schematics
- Knowledge of PLC, control panels, sensors, instrumentation, and safety interlock systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and control issues
