WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
Kaycan has an exciting opportunity for a Industrial Millwright red seal 433A based in Smiths Falls to join our dynamic maintenance team. This is a great chance to join a Top Employer and contribute to our continued growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of manufacturing equipment.
- Complete preventive maintenance activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with production teams to maximize equipment uptime and performance.
- Fabricate, rebuild, and modify equipment and components as required.
- Operate machining and welding equipment, including lathes, mills, welders, and plasma cutters.
- Read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to resolve technical issues.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
Licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) or equivalent trade certification, with ownership of basic hand tools and a strong commitment to Health & Safety and safe work practices.
Proven experience maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Skilled in using precision measuring tools and performing welding, machining, and fabrication work.
Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, and automated systems, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
