Join the team as an Electrician for modular cabins and industrial project facilities in Qatar.
The role requires hands-on experience in LV electrical installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair LV electrical systems, preferably up to 415V.
- Perform cable pulling, dressing, glanding, termination, ferruling, and identification.
- Install and terminate distribution boards, MCCBs, MCBs, RCBOs, RCDs, isolators, sockets, lighting, emergency lighting, and small-power systems.
- Connect power supplies for air-conditioning units, water heaters, exhaust fans, and other cabin or project equipment.
- Carry out earthing and bonding works and verify protective conductors.
- Read single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, electrical layouts, load schedules, and cable schedules.
- Conduct continuity, insulation-resistance, polarity, earth-continuity, and functional testing before energization.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults safely and efficiently.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Follow PTW, electrical isolation, LOTO, TESC, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and site safety procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, QA/QC, HSE, and other trades.
- Maintain housekeeping and report completed work, defects, and material requirements.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum two years of practical experience as an Electrician.
- Minimum two years of relevant experience in industrial, oil and gas, construction, maintenance, or modular-building projects in Qatar or the GCC.
- Hands-on experience with LV electrical systems up to 415V is preferred.
- Proven skills in cable glanding and termination, distribution board installation, earthing, electrical testing, and fault-finding.
- Ability to understand basic single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and load schedules.
- Experience using multimeters, clamp meters, insulation-resistance testers, and earth testers.
- Good understanding of electrical isolation, LOTO, and safe working practices.
- Basic English communication skills to understand work and safety instructions.
- Physically fit and willing to work at workshops and controlled industrial project sites.
- Valid QID.
Pay
- Pay is QAR 4,000 to QAR 6,000 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person at workshops and controlled industrial project sites.
