- Collaborate with overseas offices to deliver VAT advice globally
Requirements
- Degree in economics, finance, tax, or accounting
- At least one year of relevant experience as an Indirect Tax professional
- Experience working for a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred
- Customs duty advisory experience is preferable
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- Ability to identify areas of risk and carry out effective review
- Project management skills to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines

The Opportunity

Client Responsibilities
- Work effectively as a member of a worldwide network of professional advisors
- Collaborate with a team of VAT professionals across industries
- Participate in meetings with management teams
- Assist in preparing reports and schedules for clients
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
Technical Responsibilities
- Build deep understanding of Customs Law and its practical application
- Understand and apply regional Free Trade Agreements and key customs concepts
- Identify and discuss VAT considerations for clients' outbound investments
- Engage with overseas offices to deliver VAT advice globally
- Prepare for potential introduction of VAT in different countries
- Work with internal teams to provide indirect tax expertise for audit and transaction projects
Qualifications & Experience
- A degree in economics, finance, tax or accounting
- At least one year of relevant experience as Indirect Tax professional
- Experience working for a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred
- Customs duty advisory experience is preferable
