Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Billing IT organization in Hyderabad, India as a full stack engineer responsible for implementing modern, cutting-edge architectural patterns across the application stack. This hands - on role requires close collaboration with architects and engineering teams to deliver high quality solutions aligned with The Hartford’s technology roadmap. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Java, Angular, AWS services, Oracle databases, API development, microservices, and event driven architectures, with a demonstrated focus on security, resiliency, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain microservices using Java Spring Boot and API integrations using AWS technologies.
- Develop modern, user centric UI components following frontend best practices and accessibility guidelines.
- Create and modify Unix jobs that interact with Oracle backends .
- Create and modify Oracle backend components like procedures, packages etc.
- Integration and unit testing in alignment with DevSecOps best practices .
- T riage issues end-to-end , apply strong debugging skills to rapidly identify root causes and restore service.
- Develop and deploy solutions using AWS cloud services like AWS Lambda.
