Rygiel Supports for Community Living believes that communities are stronger when everyone belongs. We support people with developmental disabilities to live the lives they choose — building relationships, growing independence, and being part of vibrant neighbourhoods. Our work is guided by five values: Respect, Awareness, Integrity, Person-Centered practice, and Community.
This is more than a job. It’s a chance to help others live with dignity, choice, and belonging — and be part of a workplace that lives those values, too.
You will blend your experience and leadership in the Developmental Services Sector, and support Rygiel’s mission to enrich the lives of the people we support through relationships, independence, belonging, and advocacy. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Overseeing our inclusive living homes, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for individuals with significant medical and physical support needs (e.g. g-tube feeding, ostomy care, seizure management, mobility lifts / supports).
Providing oversight and consultation to front line staff, ensuring adherence to individualized care plans, medical protocols, and health and safety standards.
Supervising and mentoring direct support professionals and personal support workers, including performance management, conflict resolutions, and ongoing professional development.
Support onboarding and training initiatives related to complex medical care, health documentation, and responsive behavioural support practices.
Managing the day-to-day needs of your assigned portfolio of homes, including staffing coordination, documentation compliance, audits, and inspections.
