Requirements
- Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specialism in Inclusion
- Minimum of 3 years experience teaching Secondary Inclusion
- Strong understanding of the IB framework and Approaches to Teaching preferred
- Experience teaching in IB or NCofE curriculum school preferred
- A strong desire to continually improve practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences

THE ROLE
- Our Secondary Inclusion department has transformed student outcomes and succeeded in inspiring a love of learning at GEMS World Academy Abu Dhabi.
- We are seeking an innovative Secondary Inclusion Teacher to join our successful team on a maternity cover contract from January 2026.
Skills
- A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specialism in Inclusion
- Advanced qualifications are preferred but not essential
- A minimum of 3 years experience teaching Secondary Inclusion, ideally within an IB or NCofE curriculum school, however this is not mandatory
- A strong understanding of the IB framework and Approaches to Teaching is preferred
- A strong desire to continually improve their practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for their students
- The experience, personality and educational philosophy that aligns with a leading IB World School like GEMS World Academy
- January 2027 availability
