Key Responsibilities
- Answer all In Room Dining calls promptly using proper etiquette, tone, and brand scripting
- Accurately take guest food and beverage orders, confirming preferences, special requests, dietary needs, and allergies
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menus, ingredients, promotions, and preparation methods
- Enter orders accurately into the POS system and communicate details clearly to the kitchen and service team
- Coordinate order timing, delivery, and follow up to ensure service excellence and guest satisfaction
- Anticipate guest needs, personalize service, and create memorable moments
- Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally, taking ownership and initiating service recovery when needed
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the order taking and work area
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene standards, and Marriott policies and procedures
- Uphold confidentiality of guest information and adhere to data privacy standards
- Foster positive working relationships with internal departments
- Actively participate in daily line ups, training sessions, and service improvement initiatives

- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year related work experience
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience
