Develop and maintain the Automation & AI Governance Framework, including standards, lifecycle controls, and approval pathways.
Provide a consolidated, enterprise view of automation, analytics, and AI activity across COTO, including risks, performance, and value delivered.
Support the automation and responsible AI strategy, aligned to the COTO roadmaps.

Review new ideas, business cases and solution designs to ensure appropriate, sustainable, and compliant automation use.
Produce regular insight and assurance reporting for senior leaders and governance forums.
Support automation, analytics, and responsible AI capability across COTO through coaching, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
Provide expert advice to delivery teams, analysts, and operational leaders on governance requirements and design principles.
Foster a culture of safe experimentation, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
Represent COTO in enterprise-level technology, data, and AI governance forums as required.
5+ yrs of strong experience in automation, analytics, or AI governance, ideally within a complex or regulated environment.
Proven ability to design and implement enterprise governance frameworks for technology solutions.
Solid understanding of ethical AI principles, bias mitigation, data protection, and risk assessment methodologies.
Experience working with automation technologies (e.g. RPA, low-code, workflow automation) and analytics platforms.
Demonstrated ability to define and track value realisation and benefits from technology-led change.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
Experience in financial services, superannuation, or another regulated industry.
Exposure to cloud-based automation and AI platforms.
Certifications in AI or data governance, automation technologies, analytics, or risk management.
Familiarity with enterprise data management or model governance frameworks.
