The IIB Integration Designer shapes enterprise connectivity across diverse systems and platforms.
The role translates business and technical needs into reliable, performant, and maintainable integration designs while collaborating with architecture, delivery, and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise integration solutions, message flows, integration services, and reusable components using IBM Integration Bus.
- Connect enterprise applications, databases, middleware platforms, and external systems through end-to-end integration solutions.
- Use synchronous and asynchronous patterns with REST, SOAP, HTTP/HTTPS, IBM MQ, JMS, and other enterprise protocols.
- Develop ESQL message transformations and define interfaces, message structures, data mappings, and transformation rules.
- Ensure integrations meet standards for performance, scalability, availability, security, and maintainability.
- Design and implement APIs and integration services according to enterprise architecture and integration standards.
