About the Role
Khatib & Alami seeks an experienced Interior Design Manager to oversee interior fit-out and finishing works for luxury building and villa projects in Dubai. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all interior design and fit out activities during construction and site supervision phases
- Review and approve interior design drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, mock ups, and samples
- Supervise site execution to ensure compliance with approved designs, project specifications, and quality standards
- Coordinate with Architects, MEP Engineers, Structural Engineers, Contractors, and Clients to ensure seamless project delivery
- Monitor progress of fit out works and ensure timely completion of project milestones
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve design and construction issues
- Review contractor method statements, RFIs, material approvals, and inspection requests
- Ensure all luxury finishes and bespoke interior elements are executed in accordance with project requirements
- Attend project meetings and provide technical guidance on interior design and fit out works
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, health & safety requirements, and project specifications
- Prepare progress reports and support project close out activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Interior Design and Fit Out projects
- Minimum 8 years of UAE experience in site supervision consultancy
- Strong experience in luxury villas, high end residential buildings, hospitality, and commercial fit out projects
- Proven experience managing interior fit out works from design coordination through project handover
- Strong knowledge of finishing materials, joinery, FF&E, and luxury interior detailing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, MS Office, and other relevant design software
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines

Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Interior Design (ID) Manager to oversee the interior fit out and finishing works for prestigious building and luxury villa projects in Dubai.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all interior design execution, coordinating with consultants, contractors, and clients, and ensuring that all fit out works are delivered to the highest quality standards, within budget, and on schedule.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with leading engineering consultancy firms in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of Dubai Municipality regulations and local authority requirements.
- PMP or relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Immediate availability or candidates with short notice are preferred.
Working Hours
- 48 Hours per Week | 6 Days per Week
