Role Overview
Support instrumentation and Fire & Gas engineering during startup until handover to the permanent asset.
Ensure project deliverables meet operations expectations for safety, operability, reliability, and maintainability.
Engineering Responsibilities
- Conduct design reviews including SIL workshops, assessments, verification, and HAZOP activities.
- Support commissioning, startup, failure analysis, advanced troubleshooting, and project tie-ins.
- Develop surveillance and administration programs for critical instrumentation and Fire & Gas systems.
- Define best practices and recommend performance improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical input to other disciplines and functions.
- Control and supervise contractors, consultants, and service providers.
- Guide less experienced engineers in applying integrity and reliability systems.
- Maintain an issue register for critical issues and technology risks affecting reliability, availability, and cybersecurity.
- Support high-risk commissioning through system surveillance, system tuning, optimization, and advice to operations and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of experience in an oil and gas environment.
