About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ICS Cybersecurity Technician to support OT/ICS cybersecurity activities in an Oil & Gas or Chemical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for OT cybersecurity assets
- Carry out patch updates and antivirus updates for installed OT assets
- Collect backups and support recovery process for DCS, SIS, ICS, and other OT assets
- Collect ICS field asset data for DCS and non DCS systems related to projects
- Conduct field checks, confirm mark ups, and support as built documentation
- Carry out ICS cybersecurity field activities including cabinet lock maintenance, cable troubleshooting, cable removal, new cable laying, and field housekeeping
- Support installation and replacement of DCS, SIS, and ICS cybersecurity assets
- Prepare spare parts and project materials for DCS, SIS, and ICS cybersecurity activities
- Label, print, and attach network cable labels for OT cybersecurity assets
- Support power cable laying and installation in PPC, DCS, SIS, and ICS cybersecurity cabinets
- Lay communication cables for new KVMs and arrange monitors and workstations
- Verify and collect as built nameplate data for installed OT assets
Requirements
- Graduate degree or 3 year diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechatronics, Cybersecurity, Electronics, or related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Oil & Gas or Chemical facilities with focus on ICS/OT Cybersecurity
- Hands on experience with OT assets, DCS, SIS, ICS systems, fieldwork, patching, antivirus updates, backup support, and asset hardening
- CCNA or Network+ certification preferred
- CEH, Security+, or CySA+ certification preferred
- Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in an industrial 24x7 plant environment with considerable field activities

Job Purpose

Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate degree or 3 year diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechatronics, Cybersecurity, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Oil & Gas or Chemical facilities with focus on ICS/OT Cybersecurity.
- 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Chemical manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Hands on experience with OT assets, DCS, SIS, ICS systems, fieldwork, patching, antivirus updates, backup support, and asset hardening.
- CCNA or Network+ certification is preferred.
- CEH, Security+, or CySA+ certification is preferred.
- At least one cybersecurity certification is desirable.
- Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in an industrial 24x7 plant environment with considerable field activities.
