Requirements

- Proven experience teaching IB TOK at high school level, preferably within an American/IB curriculum school
- Strong knowledge of inquiry based learning and hands on IB TOK education
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues

Position Overview
- We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic High School IB Core/Theory of Knowledge Teacher to join our dedicated team from August 2026.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive IB TOK lessons to high school students, following the school's curriculum and educational standards.
- Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to inspire a love for IB TOK and foster critical thinking skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Ensuring continuity in the delivery of curriculum content.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Participate in parent teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.
Successful candidate will need
- A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in e.g., Philosophy, Social Sciences, Humanities, Education.
- Proven experience teaching IB TOK at high school level, preferably within an American/IB curriculum school.
- Strong knowledge of inquiry based learning and hands on IB TOK education.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
- A strong desire to continually improve their practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for their students.
