- Train and develop the crew in the operation, maintenance and repair of Hydraulic Hammers and power packs/equipment.
- 2.
- Report details of the job and activities related to the Hammer to the Barge Foreman, Barge Superintendent and Field Engineer.
- 3.
- Ensure a complete and up-to-date inventory of available spare items/equipment is always maintained.
- 4.
- Check that all the items and accessories required for the Hammers are available onboard the barge and ensure that the hammers and correctly set up, hoses are connected and umbilical cables are ready to use.
- 5.
- Keep a well-documented log of all activities which are mobilized with hammers.
- 6.
- Supervise the dismantling and demobilization of the hammer equipment and its maintenance during the idle period.
- 7.
- Maintain a log of equipment condition before-and after piling activities to record and indicate specific equipment that requires maintenance works.
- 8.
- Liaise regularly with the Chief Mechanic to ensure the timely inspection and maintenance of equipment.
- 9.
- Take necessary actions to establish a safe working environment.
- 10.
- In the event of an emergency where potential risk is involved, carry out the hammering operation in an appropriate manner ensuring the safety of the crew.

- Compliance in accordance with Company codes and HSE standards.

- QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school or equivalent.
- 6 years’ experience as Hydraulic Hammer Operator.
- Good English language skills.
- Good Communication skills.
- Proven supervisory skills.
- Knowledge of all offshore safety training requirements.
