Responsibilities
- Prepare reports and executive summaries covering key risks, areas of concern and internal audit activities
- Lead audits assigned as part of annual audit plan
- Prepare and review audit scope and programs to ensure adequate coverage of audit objectives
- Conduct research, analysis and benchmarking for processes under review
- Analyse and appraise evidentiary data to form objective opinion on internal control system
- Develop, review and update audit reports and recommendations
- Provide guidance to Trainee Auditors/Internal Auditor as lead auditor
- Conduct periodic follow up to ensure management action plans are executed
- Develop or review MIS reports analysing status of implementation of management action plan
- Support IA Manager/Director in providing advice on controls, risk management and governance
- Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting for Audit Committee
- Ensure compliance to safety, quality and environmental management procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of related work experience in similar Engineering or equivalent industries
- Professional certification such as CIA, ACA, ACCA, CPA (CISA, CISM or CISSP for IT audit) or equivalent

Responsibilities
- Prepare reports and executive summaries covering key risks, areas of concern and internal audit activities and submit to the Internal Audit Manager/Internal Audit and Compliance Director for review
- Lead audits assigned as part of annual audit plan
- Prepare and review the Audit scope and programs to ensure adequate and comprehensive coverage of the audit objectives
- Conduct research, analysis & benchmarking for the processes under review
- Analyse and appraise evidentiary data as a basis for an informed, objective opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control system and the efficiency of performance of the activities reviewed
- Develop, review and update the audit report and recommendations contained therein
- Be the focal point for providing guidance to Trainee Auditors/Internal Auditor as the lead auditor on assigned engagement
- Conduct periodic follow up to ensure that management action plans identified in prior audits have been executed by process owners
- Develop or review MIS reports analysing the status of implementation of management action plan
- Support IA Manager/Internal Audit and Compliance Director in providing advice, consultancy and assistance to the Group Chief Executive Officer and/ or any Division Manager within NMDC Group on various issues relating to implementation of controls, risk management and governance processes
- Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting of activities and results for presentation in Audit Committee to ensure continuous update and feedback on progress
- Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of related work experience in similar Engineering or equivalent industries
- Professional certification such as CIA, ACA, ACCA, CPA (CISA, CISM or CISSP for IT audit) or equivalent is required
