HVAC Technician

Sentry is looking for a skilled and driven HVAC Technician to join our expanding team!

In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining , and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including new construction and remodels.

• Install, maintain , and repair HVAC systems , including ductwork, air handlers, compressors, and thermostats.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems.
• Follow industry inspection checklists and installation protocols to ensure quality and compliance.
• Provide expert recommendations to customers for system improvements and efficiency upgrades .
• Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain detailed records of work orders, time spent, and materials used .
• Manage and track inventory to prevent supply shortages.
• Clean and maintain HVAC components , including blowers, coils, filters, and grills.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to optimize system performance and longevity.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills .
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in a certified HVAC apprenticeship program .
