Job Overview
- Installs and repairs refrigeration and cooling systems.
Responsibilities
- Lays out reference points for installation of structural and functional components.
- Inspects HVAC systems and their components (e.g. heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) for evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance.
- Starts system, observes operation, read gauges and instruments, and adjust mechanism, dismantles malfunctioning systems and tests components to ascertain the nature and location of defects.
- Repairs or adjusts defective or worn parts.
- Installs wiring to connect
