Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining the piping systems that deliver water, gas, and sewage.
- Installation of heating and cooling systems, faucets, toilets, and other fixtures in buildings.
- Perform preventive maintenance.
- Assembling or dismantling machinery, equipment, or other devices according to written or verbal instructions.
- Troubleshooting malfunctions in equipment or processes to determine causes and solutions.
- Performing basic engineering calculations such as pressure loss calculations for steam lines.
