Role Overview
Support the operation and maintenance of critical cooling infrastructure within a data center environment.
Maintain optimal temperature, airflow, and environmental conditions for mission-critical facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective, predictive, and condition-based maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot chillers, CRAH and CRAC units, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, pumps, and chilled water systems.
- Monitor cooling performance, investigate operational alarms, and review HVAC trends.
- Support maintenance shutdowns, equipment changeovers, cooling restoration, testing, commissioning, hydraulic balancing, and performance verification.
- Prepare maintenance logs, inspection reports, and shift handover documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma or ITI qualification in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
- Minimum eight years of data center operations and maintenance experience.
- Strong understanding of data center cooling systems, airflow management, and thermal optimization.
- Experience with HVAC diagnostics, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CAFM or CMMS systems.
- Preferred certifications include C-Net, Uptime Institute, EPI, ASHRAE, or an equivalent certification.
- Willingness to work 24x7 rotational shifts.
