Lead investigation and diagnosis of complex or recurring system issues. Analyse root causes and ensure long-term solutions are implemented locally and cross-regionally. Determine when issues should be handled internally versus escalated to external contractors.
Manage relationships with external service contractors. Review scopes of work, quotes, and service reports to ensure contractors meet performance expectations, safety requirements, and service standards.
Manage site’s BAS/BMS systems for alarms and abnormalities requiring service and system repairs, schematic changes, or upgrades.
Support capital projects, including planning, execution, and commissioning by overseeing installation of new equipment and system upgrades. Coordinate electrical, mechanical, and controls integration for new systems.
Collaborating with facilities and program staff as part of the multi-disciplinary team to support residents/tenants through creative problem solving, trauma-informed care, and relationship building
5+ years of experience in building operations, HVAC, or mechanical systems, with leadership experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, hydronics, ventilation, and building automation systems
Computer experience: Internet, spreadsheets and heating/air conditioning controls.
Proficiency in YARDI software preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact effectively with others
A basic understanding of and compassion for individuals who have experienced mental health concerns and/or substance use
Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse team

Must have own vehicle and a valid “G” class driver’s license
