Develop and maintain strong relationships with users of financial information, helping them understand the data and integrate it into their decision making and management approach

Support the Controller by working with various operating departments during the budget preparation season to ensure quality of data inputs and access to necessary information
Analyze operating budgets to ensure financial sustainability and compliance with Operating Agreements
Support department managers in extracting and interpreting financial information as required
Assist the Finance Manager in identifying and implementing process improvements
Assist with year-end close and audit procedures
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
Professional certification such as CPA is highly desirable
Proven experience in financial budgeting and reporting, preferably in a nonprofit or social services organization
Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to interpret and present financial information in a way that is understandable to users without the same familiarity or experience
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
High degree of proficiency in Excel. Candidates ought to be familiar with functions such as Power Query, index-matching, xlookup, and pivot tables.
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
Vacation : 3 weeks (15 days) paid with 8 HEAL days (sick and personal appointments) per year
