About the Role

- Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with laws and company policies.
- Assist employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures.
- Coordinate and conduct applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks, etc.
- Maintain applicant flow, drug screen, orientation and transfer request logs.
- Communicate job offer documentation to applicants for I 9 verification.
- Create and maintain new hire files and enter them into PeopleSoft.
- Assist with orientation of new employees and train new hires on HR processes.
- Support processing and maintenance of payroll records.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and property records.
- Answer phone calls, create correspondence, and generate HR data reports.

- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.

Recruitment Programs and Strategies
- Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with laws and company policies.

- Monitor and assist managers/supervisors with hiring processes and issues.
- Coordinate and conduct applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks, etc.
- Maintain applicant flow, drug screen, orientation and transfer request logs.
- Communicate to applicants the necessary documentation for I 9 verification.
- Create and maintain new hire files and enter them into PeopleSoft.
- Create new employee personnel file.
- Assist with orientation of new employees.
- Train new hires on HR processes, programs, policies, information systems.
Compensation and Administration
- Support processing and maintenance of payroll records.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and property records.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files.
- Answer phone calls and record messages.
- Create and type office correspondence using computer.
- Create and maintain filing systems.
- Generate Human Resources data reports as required.
Communications and Relations
- Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management.
- Inform HR management of issues related to employee relations.
- Post all necessary legal or regulatory notices related to HR.
- Assist management with handling and resolving HR issues.
Policies and Procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.
- Follow company and department policies and procedures.
- Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
- Ensure uniform, nametags, and personal appearance are professional.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
Communication and Working with Others
- Talk with and listen to other employees to effectively exchange information.
- Discuss work topics discreetly and quietly.
- Prepare and review written documents.
- Support all co workers and treat them with dignity and respect.

Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
