About the Role
Mizuho is seeking an HR Analyst to support the HR function in the MEA region, handling administration, recruitment support, payroll coordination, and employee lifecycle processes. Responsibilities
- Open positions in HR systems and ensure approvals for recruiting activity
- Schedule interviews for shortlisted candidates
- Administer end to end HR employee lifecycle processes including offer management, contract preparation, and leaver paperwork
- Maintain employee files and ensure documentation compliance
- Coordinate payroll information including new joiners, leavers, and salary changes
- Support learning and development coordination including room bookings and training materials
- Provide general administration support such as answering calls, processing invoices, and managing correspondence
- Liaise with immigration provider for visa processing and residence permits
- Ensure employee records are up to date in HR system and maintain trackers
- Support annual HR processes such as compensation, promotions, and performance reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field
- Experience in HR analytics, operations, or reporting ideally in banking or financial services
- Strong Excel and HRIS skills (Workday/SuccessFactors preferred)
- High attention to detail and comfort handling confidential data
- Solid understanding of DIFC and UAE labour laws
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and tell a story through insights

Profile Summary
- The HR Analyst supports the HR function in HR administration to ensure smooth running of day to day operations in MEA region.
- Partners closely with Head of Human Resources – MEA, Talent, and support teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition and Offboarding: Opening positions, scheduling interviews, offer management, background screening coordination.
- File Management: Data maintenance, document management, employee file compilation.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Track payroll information, coordinate GOSI/Pension payments.
- Learning and Development: Coordinate room bookings, flight bookings, prepare training materials.
- General: Provide support for HR Ops duties, salary certificates, NOCs, general administration.
- Immigration: Liaise with immigration provider for visa processing.
- IT Systems and Reporting: Maintain employee records in HR system, attend to queries.
- Miscellaneous: Support Head of HR in initiatives, ad hoc projects.
- HR Risk and Control: Ensure audit compliance of employment files.
- Data Protection: Act as data protection business process owner for HR.
- Core Annual HR Processes: Support compensation, promotions, performance reviews.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in HR analytics, operations, or reporting ideally in banking or financial services.
- Strong Excel and HRIS skills (Workday/SuccessFactors preferred).
