About the Role

Responsibilities
- Adhere to and implement AtkinsRéalis internal HSE management system requirements and procedures
- Monitor compliance of all WSA staff with applicable safety standards and company procedures
- Monitor, assess and report on Contractor and Sub Contractors HSE compliance
- Bring critical and outstanding safety issues to the attention of the AtkinsRéalis PM
- Conduct and coordinate regular safety training for WSA staff
- Carry out daily site HSE tours with Contractor HSE staff and highlight findings
- Issue Safety Enforcement Notices (SEN) as per applicable procedure
- Follow up with Contractor on outstanding HSE issues, including SENs
- Review and comment on Contractors HSE Plans, risk assessments, and method statements
- Develop and update AtkinsRéalis HSE documents (the Safety File)
- Conduct accident and incident investigations for AtkinsRéalis staff
- Compile accident report and incident statistics
Requirements
- Minimum HSE qualifications with NEBOSH Diploma/IGC
- Lead auditor course (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001)
- Professional membership from IIRSM/IOSH is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
- Experience in site Supervision consultant
- Middle East Experience mandatory

Overview
- AtkinsRéalis is Looking for HSEW Officer.
Your role
- Adhere to and implement AtkinsRéalis internal HSE management system requirements and procedures for AtkinsRéalis site team.
- Adhere to project HSE requirements and implement this to AtkinsRéalis team.
- Monitor the compliance of all WSA staff with the applicable safety standards and company’s procedures and bring to the attention of the Project Manager any safety violations by WSA site team for their further action.
- Monitor, assess and report on Contractor and Sub Contractors HSE compliance with the project HSE requirements as per the Contract and HSE legislation / best practice.
- Immediately bring to the attention of the AtkinsRéalis PM the critical and outstanding safety issues for their further actions.
- Conduct and co ordinate regular safety training for WSA staff.
- Carry out daily site HSE tours with Contractor HSE staff and highlight findings.
- Issue Safety Enforcement Notices (SEN) as per applicable AtkinsRéalis SEN procedure.
- Follow up with the Contractor on outstanding HSE issues, including SEN’s and ensuring prompt closure with adequate evidence of compliance.
- Review and comment of the Contractors HSE Plans. Advise the Contractor to update the site safety plan when necessary.
- Review and comment on Contractors risk assessments and work method statements.
- Develop and update AtkinsRéalis HSE documents (the Safety File), e.g. HSE Plan, HSE specific site risk assessment, office risk assessment, office fire risk assessment, etc.
Qualification & Certification
- Minimum HSE qualifications with NEBOSH Diploma/IGC.
- Lead auditor course ( ISO45001 and ISO14001).
- Professional membership from IIRSM/IOSH is preferred.
Behavioral Competencies
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English essential.
- Will be capable of working on their own or within/leading a small team of like discipline individuals and creating designs relevant to Middle East environment.
- Experience in site Supervision consultant.
- Middle East Experience mandatory.
