Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day HSE performance on construction sites, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and client standards
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments; issue corrective actions and follow up
- Support Resident Engineer and project leadership with HSE reporting, incident investigations, and root cause analysis
- Review and approve contractor HSE plans, method statements, permits to work, and emergency response procedures
- Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness campaigns
- Monitor high risk activities (excavation, lifting, working at height, confined spaces) and ensure controls
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, inspection logs, and compliance records
- Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, and contractors to resolve HSE issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
- 8–12 years of HSE experience in construction supervision within the UAE or GCC
- Strong understanding of UAE HSE legislation and international standards (OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 45001)
- Demonstrated experience managing HSE on building, infrastructure, or mixed use development projects
- Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
- Certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or equivalent are mandatory

- The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards, proven site supervision experience, and the ability to drive compliance and safety culture across contractors and stakeholders.

- Oversee day‑to‑day HSE performance on construction sites, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, client standards, and international best practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments; issue corrective actions and follow up to closure.
- Support the Resident Engineer and project leadership with HSE reporting, incident investigations, and root‑cause analysis.
- Review and approve contractor HSE plans, method statements, permits to work, and emergency response procedures.
- Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness campaigns to reinforce safe work practices.
- Monitor high‑risk activities (excavation, lifting, working at height, confined spaces) and ensure appropriate controls are implemented.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 8–12 years of HSE experience in construction supervision within the UAE or GCC.
- Strong understanding of UAE HSE legislation, local authority requirements, and international standards (OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 45001).
- Demonstrated experience managing HSE on building, infrastructure, or mixed‑use development projects.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or equivalent are mandatory.
