About the Role
Hitachi Energy is seeking an HSE Senior Advisor to promote safe behaviors and support HSE activities across the Service Cluster and project sites in Riyadh.

Responsibilities
- Promote safe behaviors and support HSE activities across the Service Cluster and project sites
- Drive improvements in safety culture and environmental practices through company programs
- Work with different teams to increase HSE awareness and manage HSE reporting, including incidents and KPIs
- Support HSE Managers and site teams by giving expert advice and participating in audits
- Coordinate and regularly interact with HSE Advisors and site teams through meetings and follow ups to ensure alignment and effective implementation of HSE requirements
- Ensure all HSE actions are completed on time and support incident investigations to fix root causes
- Maintain good coordination with site HSE teams and support accurate reporting
- Share lessons learned and best practices across all project sites
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards like ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Help improve HSE reporting systems and data analysis
- Support training and awareness on HSE standards and requirements
- Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, integrity, and responsibility in all activities
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as Senior HSE Advisor in a high risk industry (ideally rail)
- Ability to build HSE capability and safety leadership of managers, employees, and contractors
- Experience gained in a client facing role highly regarded
- Resourceful, flexible, self motivated, well organized, and able to multi task
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field or diploma in occupational health and safety
