Job Description

  • We are seeking multiple HSE Officers for a newly awarded major Oil & Gas EPC project in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Role Summary

  • We are seeking a qualified HSE Engineer with ADNOC approval to support implementation of HSE programs and ensure compliance with ADNOC regulations.

What you will need to do

  • Assists the HSE Manager / Senior HSE Officer in their daily operations.
  • Applies and implements the Company’s IMS (HSE aspects) throughout the project.
  • Ensures all activities are carried out with full regard to HSE policy and procedures.
  • Ensures personnel are advised of HSE hazards via induction courses and toolbox talks.
  • Actively executes or assists in investigation and reporting of accidents, incidents and near misses.
  • Takes prompt corrective action and informs HSE Manager of potential HSE hazards.
  • Maintains and participates in schedule of meetings, emergency exercises, inspections and audits.
  • Promptly responds to reports of non compliance, unsafe conditions, accidents and near misses.
  • Participates in follow up and close out of corrective actions.
  • Gives guidance and support to assistant HSE Officer.
  • Performs any other related duties as assigned.

What you will need to have

  • NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum
  • 5 8 years relevant HSE experience in O&G field
  • Experience in Onshore or Offshore is mandatory
  • Knowledge of HSE Standards
  • ADNOC approval is highly preferable
  • Good reporting skills
  • Good command (written and oral) of English

  • Previous experience working in GCC countries on oil and gas projects with an EPC contractor or heavy industrial construction company in oil and gas sector
