Job Overview
- An HSE Officer is responsible for protecting employees, the public, and the environment.
- Enforces safety policies, conducts risk assessments, monitors compliance, investigates incidents, and conducts safety training.
Core Daily Responsibilities
- Perform daily walkdowns to identify hazards, unsafe acts, or unsafe conditions, ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Review and verify safety permits for high risk activities like hot work, confined space entry, or working at heights.
- Lead pre shift safety briefings to educate workers on specific hazards and daily preventive measures.
Risk and Incident Management
- Identify workplace hazards and evaluate risks to implement control measures before work begins.
- Lead root cause investigations for accidents, injuries, or near misses, and document corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Training and Compliance
- Deliver safety inductions, emergency preparedness drills, and equipment competency refreshers.
- Monitor waste segregation, chemical storage, and emissions to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of safety inspections, training.
Compensation
- Pay: AED 3,000 AED 5,000 per month
