Role overview
Full-time, on-site Safety Officer role focused on workplace safety and HSE compliance.
The role monitors workplace conditions and supports safety performance across site personnel and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
- Develop and implement HSE plans and procedures.
- Maintain safety records and prepare reports for management and clients.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Deliver safety inductions and awareness sessions.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH IGC certification is required.
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in any field is required and must be MOFA attested.
- Two to three years of experience in HSE roles is required.
- Basic English-speaking skills are required.
- Additional HSE or safety training certifications are advantageous.
Workplace and availability
- The description states that the role is on-site and based in Dubai.
