Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Abu Dhabi for an Appointed Person for Lifting Operations.
The role is responsible for planning and supervising lifting operations and ensuring compliance with standards and company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare lifting plans and assess risks associated with lifting operations.
- Select suitable lifting equipment and coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site supervisors.
- Verify pre-use inspections and certifications for lifting equipment.
- Monitor site conditions and communicate safe work instructions.
- Resolve operational issues and maintain accurate lifting documentation and reports.
- Support incident prevention, participate in HSE meetings, and improve lifting practices.
Qualifications
- Hold LEEA-APLO certification.
- ADNOC approval is preferred.
- Have 3 to 5 years of lifting operations experience in construction, oil and gas, infrastructure, or manufacturing.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of lifting regulations, HSE standards, and safe systems of work.
- Be proficient in interpreting technical drawings, lift plans, and equipment specifications.
